Who we are and what these terms cover
tron.rent is a website run by a private individual ("we"). It lets you rent energy on the TRON network. These Terms of Use apply every time you use the site. Connecting a wallet or sending a payment means you accept them.
The service in short
You choose an amount of energy and a rental period. After your TRX payment is confirmed, energy from a third-party resource pool is delegated to your TRON address for that period. When the period ends, the delegation stops on its own.
We never hold your funds or tokens and never ask for a seed phrase or private key. tron.rent is not a wallet, an exchange or a financial service.
Who can use tron.rent
- People aged 18 or over with full legal capacity.
- People who are not on sanctions lists and are not in a sanctioned country or territory.
- People for whom using such a service is allowed by local law. Checking this is your responsibility.
Prices
The price is calculated from the energy market and shown before you pay, together with the amount of energy, the period and the receiving address. Prices may change at any moment before payment. A confirmed order price stays valid for 15 minutes. We may set prices below market and change them at any time without notice.
Paying for an order
Pay in TRX from the connected address, in one transaction, for at least the amount shown, to the deposit address in the order confirmation. You cover the network fee for your own payment. Blockchain payments can't be reversed, so check the amount and recipient before approving.
Delivery
Energy is usually delegated within about a minute after the payment is confirmed. Network or pool load can make it take longer. An order counts as delivered once the energy is delegated to the receiving address. The receiving address has to be activated on TRON.
How much energy a transaction uses is decided by the TRON network and the smart contract involved, not by us.
Refunds
If energy is not delivered in full, we refund the undelivered part to the address that paid, as set out in the Refund Policy. Delivered energy can't be refunded.
Your obligations
- Keep your wallet and keys safe.
- Don't use tron.rent for anything unlawful, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or getting around sanctions.
- Don't attack, overload or misuse the site or the service.
- Give accurate information when you contact support.
When we can refuse
We may decline or cancel an order, or block an address, if we reasonably think the use is unlawful, breaks these terms or the AML Policy, or puts the service at risk. A paid order we cancel before delivery is refunded unless the law requires otherwise.
Services we depend on
tron.rent relies on the TRON network, blockchain data providers such as TronGrid and outside energy providers. We aren't responsible for their outages, delays or changes, including changes to network parameters and fees.
No guarantees
The site is provided as is. We don't promise uninterrupted operation or a given amount of energy at any moment. Nothing on tron.rent is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, our liability for any order is capped at the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profit, or losses caused by your wallet, your device, a wrong address, blockchain conditions or events outside our reasonable control.
Updates and disputes
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from its update date. They are governed by the law of the operator's country of residence, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise. Please contact us first so we can try to settle any issue within 30 days.
