AML Policy
Purpose
tron.rent only rents a network resource and never holds or moves user funds. Even so, we don't want it used for crime, so these rules apply to every order.
Not allowed
- Money laundering, terrorist financing or financing weapons proliferation.
- Scams, phishing, wallet drainers, ransomware or moving stolen funds.
- Getting around sanctions or use by sanctioned people or jurisdictions.
- Anything illegal where you or the recipient are.
Checks and refusal
We may screen addresses against public sanctions lists and risk sources, refuse or cancel orders, block addresses, keep records and report to authorities where the law requires. Where the law prevents it, we won't explain a refusal.
Identity checks
Regular orders don't need identity checks. In unusual cases, such as very large volumes or a disputed refund, we may ask for more information.
Risks you should know
- Blockchain payments are final; a payment to a wrong address is lost.
- The energy a transaction needs is set by TRON and the smart contract and may change.
- Network parameters, fees and prices can change at any time, including during a rental.
- Network congestion or provider outages can delay delivery.
- Digital assets are volatile and may be restricted where you live.
- Never share your seed phrase or private key. We will never ask for them.
